Class B CDL Driver

POSITION: DRIVER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Make deliveries to customer facilities and job sites
• Pick up orders from local vendors
• Help load vehicle for customer deliveries
• Help unload vehicle at customers’ job site/final destination
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle, and report any problems encountered
• Complete a daily route report and comply with all government and company rules regarding the transportation and handling of hazardous materials
• Be an ambassador for ILLCO while in the field
• Work with warehouse manager to assist with daily branch operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of CDL driving experience. Accident and violation free driving record is preferred
• Must hold a minimum class B CDL license with hazardous material and airbrakes endorsement
• Must maintain proper medical authorization to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must be able to operate a standard manual shift transmission
• Must be able to read maps and follow written and verbal directions
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without assistance
• Must be physically able to climb in and out of the truck and truck bed multiple times per day
