Class B CDL Sewer Operator

About the Role

​H&S&Sons is seeking an experienced, dependable Class B CDL Operator to operate our Jetter/Vac (JC) combo trucks and hydro-excavation equipment. If you have a solid background in sewer line cleaning, jetting, or hydrovac operations and are looking for a company where your hard work is recognized and rewarded, we want to talk to you! ​We offer strong starting pay, steady work, and genuine room to grow within our company. ​Key Responsibilities ​Equipment Operation: Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles, including Jetter/Vac combo trucks (JC), vacuum units, and hydro-excavation equipment. ​Sewer & Excavation Work: Perform jetting, vacuuming, line cleaning, and non-destructive hydro-excavating on various underground utility and municipal job sites. ​Safety & Compliance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT/DVIR), adhere to site safety protocols, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. ​Rigging & Setup: Position trucks on job sites, assemble vacuum hoses, water lines, and nozzles, and perform manual field work as required. ​Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting, daily maintenance, and washdowns on trucks and specialized pumping equipment. ​Qualifications & Requirements ​License: Active Class B CDL (Class A is also welcome) with a clean driving record. ​Endorsements: Tanker endorsement preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire). ​Experience: ​Hands-on experience operating Jetter/Vac combo (JC) or vacuum equipment required. ​Prior experience in sewer maintenance, utility work, or hydro-excavation strongly preferred. ​Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, handle heavy vacuum/water hoses, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. ​Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and capable of working well in a team environment. ​Pay & Benefits ​Starting Rate: $30.00 / hour ​Growth: Room for pay increases and advancement as you demonstrate skill and leadership. ​Schedule: Full-time | Monday through Friday (with potential overtime opportunities).
