Class B Truck Driver - Part TIme

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class B Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a 28 foot box truck with an automatic transmission, to deliver our products efficiently and safely across designated routes. We also do some bulk material pickups in the truck as well. This is a part-time only first shift position. Hours may vary with an average of 10-15 hours per week with some less and some more. No weekends.

Ideally, driver would be willing to occasionally help inside the factory in the manufacturing for some additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial trucks with automatic transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Be able to lift 30lb bags of our products repeatedly.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each shift.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, maintaining punctuality while accommodating route changes or delivery priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, inspection reports, and load documentation for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries smoothly.
• Assist with the secure loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper load distribution and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations preferered.
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers.
• Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections, load/unload cargo, and handle heavy equipment as needed. Join us in delivering excellence on every route! Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
