Class One Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to join our team. We want to train the right individual to operate our tri-drive wrecker. Class 3 and air is a must. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and cargo across designated routes
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
• Perform basic mechanical repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues
• Assist with warehouse duties such as forklift operation and freight handling when required

Experience

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
• Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related logistics roles
• Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair is a plus
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance
• Passport and Drug testing is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
