Position Overview:

We are a locally owned and operated full-service Classic and Muscle Car shop specializing in the repair, restoration and modernization of American muscle cars seeking experienced classic car technicians to add to our team.

Classic Auto Technician works directly with the Shop Manager to create an exceptional experience for our customers engaged in the classic car hobby. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience. This role is responsible for repairs or replacement of steering, suspension, brakes, differentials, wheels/tires and alignments. Experience in engine diagnostics, transmissions, carburetors, distributors, air conditioning and electronic fuel injection is a must. This is not an entry level position as we do not have the time to train a technician right now.

The ability to manage time for productive and efficient work is required. The ideal candidate must be a team player and have a basic set of their own tools which includes adequate tools assembly and disassembly of vehicles as needed.

We are a very well-equipped updated shop with very loyal customers, 2 downdraft baking paint booths, 8 bays, tire and wheel machines, alignment machine,as well as multiple high end fabrication machines.

This is a full-time position, daytime Monday – Friday from 6:30 am-3:30 pm, which means no weekends! We use high quality materials and pride ourselves in doing work the right way. Essential Functions

• Install and adjust parts in the most productive way possible
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and resources with a constant commitment to customer service
• Proactively assess, clarify, and confirm vehicle needs
• Work closely with team members on best practices
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions
• Follow safety practices and procedures
• Other Duties and Projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in classic V8 American muscle cars
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional set of mechanics hand tools. Specialty tools supplied.
• Strong mechanical, chassis, automotive repair knowledge
• Oral and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work during summer, stand and work for periods of time, lift up to 35 lbs

Position Type:

Full-Time/Regular - 40 hours/week Shop hours 6:30am – 3:30pm. Paid holidays after 90 days.

Competitive Pay, Compensation based on experience. $20-40 $/hourly
