Classroom paraprofessional

Troy School is looking for a classroom paraprofessional. This is a full-time position up to 7.5 hours per day, school session. Position includes working with individual students and students in small groups who exhibit learning, social, and emotional needs. Specific Position Requirements/Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively within a team environment and a willingness to participate in training opportunities. Physical stamina, positive energetic attitude, openness to new learning, and willingness and desire to work with students are required. Salary & Benefits: As per Support Staff Agreement.

Hourly rate will range between $20.35 and $23.00 depending on previous experience and education. Candidates must meet the districts requirements: a minimum of 48 college credits; or successfully passing the Para Pro or Master Teacher assessment tests.
