Pay: $14 per hour

Bluebird Atelier is seeking a dependable, caring Classroom Support Aide to help keep our preschool classrooms safe, clean, and running smoothly. This position floats between classrooms, providing an extra set of hands wherever support is needed.

Working under the direction of classroom teachers and administrators, the aide assists with children’s daily care, supervision, classroom routines, and regular cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diaper changes, toileting, handwashing, and other personal care routines.
• Help supervise children during play, meals, transitions, rest time, and outdoor activities.
• Support teachers with classroom setup, materials, and daily routines.
• Move between classrooms as directed to meet changing needs.
• Clean and sanitize tables, toys, changing areas, and other classroom surfaces according to school procedures.
• Assist with sweeping, vacuuming, wiping up spills, emptying trash, and keeping shared spaces tidy.
• Help with snack and meal setup and cleanup.
• Communicate children’s needs and safety concerns promptly to teachers.
• Follow school procedures for supervision, hygiene, and child safety.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with young children and responds with patience and kindness.
• Is reliable, attentive, and comfortable taking direction.
• Takes initiative and willingly helps with both child care and cleaning.
• Can adapt as classroom needs change.
• Is comfortable with an active role that includes sitting on the floor, bending, and assisting young children.
• Can complete required background clearances and training.

This is a hands-on support position. Diapering, daily care, and cleaning are essential parts of the role.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
