Classroom Teacher

Role Description/Criteria

St Peter’s School Clayton is seeking a dedicated and passionate classroom teacher to work in our wonderful community.

The successful applicant for this classroom teaching position will commence Term 1 2027.

• a strong commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education
• an ability to build positive relationships with all students, colleagues and families
• the skills and abilities to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience
• a collegial, team-based approach to learning and teaching with knowledge of an explicit instructional model
• support of our diverse community with a knowledge of the EAL Curriculum
• comply with all requirements of Child Safety policies and legal responsibilities concerning the safety, care and wellbeing of all students
• knowledge and understanding of Religious Education within the Primary School

Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School would be an advantage
