Classroom/School Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom/School Aide to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers by assisting with student interventions, extensions while taking data to support instruction.
• Ensure confidentiality of student information while documenting progress and incidents accurately in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting students with special education needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders or behavioral challenges.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with curriculum standards such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and familiarity with IEP processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in basic math skills, literacy education strategies, and lesson planning for preschool or early childhood levels.
• Strong communication and writing skills to document student progress clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
