Claude Enterprise Integration Engineer - Contract

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Claude Enterprise Integration Engineer to support a leading organization's AI platform initiatives. This role will focus on building robust MCP integrations and scalable AI platform infrastructure to enable enterprise-wide Claude deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop MCP servers to connect Claude with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Implement secure authentication and permissions frameworks for AI agent access to enterprise resources.
• Build comprehensive tool testing frameworks to validate MCP server functionality and reliability. Architect cloud deployment infrastructure for Claude applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Establish identity management and access control patterns for AI platform users and agents. Implement observability and monitoring solutions to track Claude usage, performance, and errors across the enterprise. Design and enforce cost control mechanisms to optimize Claude API consumption and cloud resource utilization.
• Build agent hosting infrastructure to support production-grade Claude deployments with appropriate failover and recovery mechanisms.
• Collaborate with security, data, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and governance requirements.

Required Experience:

• Experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise integration roles.
• Hands-on experience building integrations between AI systems and enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, API keys) and enterprise permissions models.
• Proven experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in implementing observability solutions using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for building MCP servers and integration logic.
• Strong API development skills, including REST, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. Experience with cloud infrastructure services including compute, networking, storage, and security. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) frameworks and implementation.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for production systems.
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud and API-based services.
• Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Claude API, MCP protocol, or similar LLM integrations.
• Background in enterprise software architecture or platform engineering.
• Experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost management.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements in regulated industries.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks and workflow automation tools.
