Clean Energy Ambassador

Job Summary

As a Clean Energy Ambassador, you’ll connect with community members through door-to-door outreach and face-to-face conversations. You’ll explain clean energy programs, answer questions, and help interested people understand their options. This active, outdoor role involves walking between outreach locations and using a mobile device to record interactions.

Responsibilities

• Canvass neighborhoods and engage residents in respectful, conversational discussions about clean energy.
• Share program information, respond to questions, and support community engagement through outreach and marketing activities.
• Use a mobile device to document conversations and follow up on community members’ interests.
• Apply customer service, sales, and negotiation skills to understand needs and communicate relevant options.
• Your impact: Clear, helpful conversations can help residents make informed decisions and connect with clean energy opportunities.

Skills

• Strong communication skills and comfort with face-to-face communication, door-to-door outreach, and conversational engagement.
• Customer service, sales, field sales, canvassing, fundraising, marketing, or telemarketing experience is helpful.
• Community engagement and outdoor work experience are preferred; supervising experience is also an asset.
• Comfortable walking as a primary transportation method during outreach and using mobile devices.

Bilingual ability is a plus.

This is a COMMISSION ONLY role. you would assist in building a team and earning additional commissions (override) on everything your team sells.

Pay: $75,799.00 - $225,699.00 per year
