Cleaner - 3rd Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team on the third shift. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Your efforts will ensure that all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards, contributing to a productive and welcoming workplace. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial or custodial experience who take pride in their work. Scheduled hours are Friday (3rd Shift) 9pm-6:30am, and Sunday (3rd Shift) 9pm-6:30am. More hours are available for the right person.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and sanitation tools.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment efficiently, including vacuums and floor scrubbers to ensure optimal floor care and sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by performing routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Proper handling and maintenance of all equipment.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential.
• Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices is important.
• Great communication skills.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 36.0 per week
