Cleaner – Benalla

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team in Benalla. This is a part-time position offering approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements available for the right person.

The role is based within a gym environment and will involve maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility, including bathrooms, toilets, gym floors and office areas.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Cleaning office and general facility areas
• Emptying bins and maintaining overall cleanliness
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and surfaces
• Ensuring the gym is presented to a high standard for members and staff
• Completing general cleaning duties as required

All cleaning equipment and products are supplied.

Hours

The standard hours are approximately:

• Monday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

We are very flexible with the hours for the right person. The main requirement is that cleaning is completed outside of peak gym times, which are generally 5:00am–8:00am and 4:00pm–8:00pm.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial or gym environment
• Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail
• Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Is comfortable working independently
• Is physically fit and capable of completing regular vacuuming, mopping and other physical cleaning duties
• Has a positive and professional attitude
• Can work flexibly around the needs of the business
