About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Public Facilities Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across public spaces, including bathrooms and shared facilities.

This is an early morning position, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and starting their day early. There is also scope to pick up additional hours when other team members are unable to attend, providing an opportunity to earn extra income.

Shift Details:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday
• 10:00am – 18:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitising public bathrooms and facilities
• General cleaning of public areas (sweeping, mopping, rubbish removal)
• Restocking consumables (soap, paper towels, etc.)
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Ensuring high hygiene and presentation standards are consistently met

About You:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working early morning shifts

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence required
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
