Cleaner

Mokara is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsible and comfortable working in a child-friendly gym setting.

Cleanliness and hygiene are essential to how we care for our young athletes. At Mokara, our cleaners play an important role in keeping our gym, offices and reception areas safe, organised and ready for daily operations. Training will be provided, and you’ll be part of a supportive team where your work truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities

• Clean and mop gym floors, mats and equipment
• Vacuum and mop office floors; wipe desks and workstations.
• Clean reception area, including desks, glass panels and waiting areas.
• Clean pantry area and fridge (weekly).
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely.
• Report any damages or safety issues.
• Other cleaning duties as assigned.

Duties will be shared with other cleaners. Some cleaners focus on gym areas, others on offices/reception. We are unable to sponsor work pass for this position.

Requirements

• Experience in cleaning preferred but training provided.
• Comfortable working in a children’s environment.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• No allergy to cleaning chemicals.
