Cleaner – Residential & Office Cleaning

Job Summary

Liberty Cleaning is seeking dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team in New York City. In this role, you will help maintain spotless, sanitized, and welcoming spaces for residential and office clients across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality work, has a strong work ethic, and can represent the company professionally in clients’ homes, apartments, offices, and other spaces. Cleaning supplies will be provided, and basic training will be available.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, offices, and common areas according to company standards
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation using proper cleaning techniques and products
• Follow cleaning checklists and complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly
• Handle basic housekeeping tasks when needed, such as changing linens, organizing spaces, or restocking supplies
• Use and care for cleaning supplies and equipment properly
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, team members, and company management
• Follow safety protocols related to cleaning products, equipment, and sanitation procedures
• Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled cleaning appointments throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to travel independently to jobs throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens
• Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week
• Must be reliable, hard-working, honest, and professional
• Must have strong attention to detail and take pride in quality work
• Must be comfortable working in homes, apartments, offices, and commercial environments
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of cleaning experience preferred, including experience in apartments, homes, offices, hotels, schools, or similar environments
• Experience with janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or hospitality cleaning
• Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, mops, steam cleaners, and basic cleaning products
• Strong time management, punctuality, and ability to complete jobs efficiently
• Good customer service skills and ability to interact politely with clients when needed

Compensation

• Starting at $22 per hour plus tips
• Cleaning supplies can be provided
• Opportunity for consistent hours as the company grows
