Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and furniture using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
• Conduct laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by managing cooking area sanitation and surface cleaning
• Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment safely and efficiently
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as sweeping walkways, cleaning outdoor furniture, or maintaining entryways
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Use janitorial tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in all cleaning tasks
• Perform floor care including buffing, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to keep spaces pristine
• Follow housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistent quality across all assigned areas

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation procedures, and the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while adhering to safety guidelines
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces effectively
• Basic cooking skills are desirable for roles involving kitchen sanitation or food preparation areas
• Valid experience in floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning or floor polishing is advantageous

Pay: $24.80 - $29.86 per hour
