Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in commercial, or outdoor settings
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
• Conduct dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and outdoor work as required to uphold cleanliness standards
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively while adhering to manual handling guidelines for heavy lifting or moving supplies
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their cleaning needs and preferences to ensure satisfaction
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning detergents and equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with efficiency
• Excellent attention to detail for dusting, surface cleaning, floor maintenance, and carpet care
• Good communication skills for client interaction and teamwork within a housekeeping environment
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete work promptly without compromising quality
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor fixtures effectively
