Cleaner – Peak Fitness 24 Hailsham

Location: Peak Fitness 24, Lower Dicker, Hailsham. BN27 4AT
Job Type: Part-time
Shift Pattern: 10:00am–1:00pm
Hours: Approx. 3 hours per shift, with flexibility
Overtime: Additional hours may be available
Pay: £13 per hour

Peak Fitness 24 is a brand-new 24-hour gym opening in Hailsham, and we're looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team.

Maintaining an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness is a big priority for us. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and can work independently to ensure the gym remains clean, hygienic and welcoming for our members.

Main responsibilities include:

• Cleaning the gym floor and fitness equipment
• Cleaning toilets, showers and changing rooms
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Cleaning mirrors, glass and surfaces
• Emptying bins and replenishing hygiene supplies
• Cleaning communal and staff areas
• Carrying out regular deep-cleaning tasks
• Reporting maintenance, damage or hygiene issues to management
• Maintaining a consistently high standard throughout the facility

The usual shift will be 10:00am until 1:00pm, although there can be some flexibility around these hours. There will also be the possibility of overtime and additional hours when required.

Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial, particularly within a gym, leisure or hospitality environment, but isn't essential. Reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are more important to us.
