APPOINTMENT OF A PART-TIME CLEANER

NJC Grade 2 (£12.65 per hour, pending 2026-2027 review)

Term-time only plus three weeks

15 hours per week, working hours 3.15pm – 6.15pm

Job Summary

St Oscar Romero Catholic School are seeking an experienced and detail oriented cleaner for a flexible part time role maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our school.

Duties

· Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming

· Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to prevent the spread of germs

· Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately

· Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels

· Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the sixth form office.

Requirements

· Experience in commercial cleaning is desirable, although not essential

· Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

· Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

· Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the job

· Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
