Part-Time Cleaner

Churston Nursing Home

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to join our busy nursing home in Churston.

This is a supportive and caring environment where staff work together to maintain high standards of care and cleanliness for our residents, promoting dignity, respect, choice, and wellbeing at all times.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning throughout the nursing home, including:

• Residents' bedrooms (including occupied rooms)
• Bathrooms and washrooms
• Communal areas and lounges
• Corridors and other shared spaces

You will help ensure the home remains clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

Previous cleaning experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

There may also be opportunities to gain additional hours through holiday cover and by assisting in other departments, including:

• Kitchen assistanT
• Laundry services
• Tea trolley service

Working Hours

• 3 shifts per week
• Alternating weekend rota
• Shift times:
• 08:00 to 14:00
• 10:00 to 18:00
