Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Morning Cleaner & Opening Assistant to join our team at The Meeting Place Kitchen.

The role involves daily cleaning and preparing the restaurant for opening, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and ready to welcome our customers.

Responsibilities

• Set up outdoor tables and chairs every morning.
• Sweep and mop indoor and outdoor floor areas.
• Clean and sanitise toilets daily.
• Empty bins and replace bin liners.
• Clean restaurant windows twice a week.
• Assist with receiving and moving deliveries when required.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised, and ready for opening.

Working Hours

Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM / 10:00 AM

• Approximately 3–4 hours per day.
• 6 days per week, with 1 day off.
• Option to work 7 days per week if preferred.
• Early morning shifts.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Able to start work at 6:00 AM.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks, including moving tables and chairs.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Able to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
• Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
