Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across various settings such as homes, offices, and commercial facilities
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain floors, carpets, surfaces, and fixtures in excellent condition
• Conduct laundry services for residential or commercial clients as needed
• Handle heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor work areas when required, including trash removal and outdoor surface cleaning
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
• Follow proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury during cleaning activities
• Support housekeeping management by adhering to established routines and quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as glass, wood, tile, and countertops
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation products, and their appropriate use
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
