Role Summary

The Company Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, and pleasant environment throughout the company’s offices and facilities. The role involves routine cleaning, waste disposal, maintaining cleaning supplies, and ensuring that all assigned areas meet the company’s required standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

* Clean and maintain offices, workspaces, reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, and other assigned areas.

* Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces.

* Clean and sanitize toilets, bathrooms, sinks, and other sanitary facilities.

* Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

* Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other fixtures as required.

* Ensure frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, switches, desks, and common areas are regularly disinfected.

* Replenish toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other hygiene supplies.

* Report damaged facilities, leaks, faulty equipment, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

* Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions.

* Maintain cleaning equipment and store cleaning materials properly after use.

* Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is running low.

* Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.

* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working around employees, visitors, and company property.

* Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures.

* Perform other reasonable cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of SSCE/secondary school education or equivalent.

* Previous experience as a cleaner, housekeeper, janitor, or in a similar role is an advantage.

* Good knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices.

* Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.

* Good physical fitness and ability to perform routine cleaning duties.

* Reliable, punctual, honest, and responsible.

* Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
