Cleaner - 10 Hours Per Week

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers.

Job Purpose & Objectives:

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.

· Clean, dust, and polish surfaces, furniture, and fittings.

· Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.

· Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, and kitchen areas.

· Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.

· Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

· Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

· Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

· Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored properly.

· Carry out deep cleaning tasks as required.

Essential Criteria

· Previous cleaning experience (commercial, office, or domestic).

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

· Good attention to detail and pride in high standards of cleanliness.

· Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

· Awareness of health and safety practices, including safe use of cleaning chemicals.

· Physically able to carry out manual tasks.

Desirable Criteria

· Experience using specialist cleaning equipment (e.g. floor buffers).

· Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

· First Aid or Health & Safety training.

· Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
