Cleaner

Maryborough Nursing Home is a purpose-built facility near Douglas, Cork. We care for 36 residents in our single-story building, set in mature landscaped gardens. We are currently looking for reliable, flexible, and friendly cleaner to join our housekeeping team.

Role description:

• Daily cleaning of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
• Restocking PPE stations
• Taking responsibility for safe use of cleaning products
• Following infection prevention and control guidelines and procedures
• Showing understanding and respect towards all residents and relatives

Requirements:

• Availability to work flexible days, including weekends
• Cleaning experience in healthcare setting preferrable but not essential
• Willing to participate in mandatory training (Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, etc)
• Be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative

Salary: From €15.10 per hour

Pay: €15.10 per hour
