Join our dynamic team as a Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment for a private residence

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and furniture using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to ensure high standards of sanitation.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures in the residence
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or cleaning equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor porch areas by sweeping walkways and managing waste disposal responsibly.
• Communicate effectively with client to understand specific cleaning needs while providing excellent customer service.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to wash dishes & wipe down kitchen counter, refrigerator, and sink. Put away dishes

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred; experience in residential housekeeping or commercial cleaning is highly valued.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and appropriate use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally.
• Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic focused on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
