WHO WE ARE

We're Scrubora, one of the largest cleaning teams on the Forgotten Coast, working from Pensacola to Carrabelle. We're a local crew of 20+ cleaners, not a faraway franchise, and we're close-knit and hardworking. We've done over 650 cleans since April, more than 100 in September alone, and our top cleaner has cleaned 140 units with us. We work hard, we take care of each other, and we make good money doing it. We're steadily picking up houses and need a few more good people to join us, especially as we prep for 2027.

This is real W-2 employment, with taxes handled correctly. Not 1099, not cash.

WHAT WE CLEAN

Mostly vacation rentals, getting homes ready between guests. We also clean private homes, offices, and brand-new homes after construction, plus deep cleans, touch-ups, and home checks, so no two weeks look the same.

A NOTE ON OUR NAMES

You'll work for Scrubora Florida, LLC, but our customers know us by our local names, like St. George Island Cleaners, Port St. Joe Cleaners, Cape San Blas Cleaners, Indian Pass Cleaners, and Mexico Beach Cleaners. You might see any of these on your jobs. Same team, same app, one paycheck.

HOW YOU GET PAID

We pay per house. Every house has a set amount based on its size and the type of clean, and it's split between the crew who clean it. Sometimes its a few people, but a lot of time you're by yourself in smaller 1-3 BR houses. We care about clean, not fast. Do it right and you'll do well here.

Our cleaners always come out ahead with house pay. You're still clocked in at $20 an hour as a minimum, but house pay beats its almost every time, unless you're doing additional tasks that we offer our customers.

We pay as fast as we can. Our week runs Monday through Sunday, so your weekend cleans count toward that week. We submit payroll first thing the Monday after, and it hits your bank by direct deposit (or check) the very next day. So basically work til Sunday, payroll ran the next day.

OUR APP

Everything runs through our cleaner app on your phone. You'll see your schedule, addresses, clock in and out, get door codes and notes for each house, follow the checklist, and snap your before and after photos so the owners can see your work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Vacation rentals: clean kitchens, baths, bedrooms, and living areas to a guest-ready standard, strip and make beds, restock, and stage the home before the next guest arrives

• Private homes: regular or one-time cleaning for homeowners

• New construction: final cleans on brand-new homes, dust and debris, windows and fixtures, stickers off the appliances (physical, dusty work)

• Offices: scheduled around the rental work

• Let us know about any damage or missing items so we can flag it before the next guest

• Work with a small crew, usually 2 to 3 cleaners per home. Newer hires are paired with a lead cleaner on larger houses.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Detail-oriented people who notice the little things and take pride in a spotless house

• Cleaning experience (vacation rental or hotel experience is a big plus)

• Reliable: you show up when you say you will, and the house is ready before guests arrive

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (our jobs are spread along the coast)

• A smartphone for our app

• Weekend availability. Expect weekends and some holidays in season

• Able to stand, bend, and lift through a shift

• 18 or older (required for construction sites)

WHERE

Most of our work is around Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and St. George Island, with jobs in Mexico Beach, Apalachicola, Santa Rosa Beach, and more.

Part-time, mostly weekends, possibly seasonal.
