Cleaner

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper housekeeping throughout the mattress manufacturing facility, including production areas, warehouse, offices, restrooms, staff facilities, and common areas. The employee must ensure that the workplace is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain production areas, warehouse, offices, corridors, and common areas.

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors regularly to maintain proper hygiene.

• Remove dust, fabric pieces, foam waste, packaging materials, and other production waste from designated areas.

• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in the designated disposal areas.

• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, sinks, and other staff facilities.

• Clean doors, windows, glass panels, tables, chairs, and other surfaces as required.

• Maintain cleanliness around mattress production machinery without interfering with machine operations.

• Ensure cleaning materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored after use.

• Report any damaged cleaning equipment, unsafe conditions, water leakage, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

• Follow proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and materials.

• Ensure walkways, emergency exits, and working areas remain free from unnecessary waste and obstructions.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness during production activities and after completion of shifts.

• Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.

• Perform deep cleaning and special cleaning duties as assigned.

• Assist with other general housekeeping duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and safe use of cleaning materials.

• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning activities for extended periods.

• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and reliable.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain workplace discipline.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,200.00 per month

Work Location: In person
