Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Conduct laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms.
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and outdoor spaces as required.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture and equipment.
• Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents regarding specific cleaning needs or requests to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation protocols.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work tasks.
• Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or residents.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper manual handling procedures.
