Pay

• £24,336 p.a (based on 36 hours a week)
• £28,392 p.a (based on 42 hours a week)

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at our residential care home in the Totnes area. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff, supporting our commitment to quality elderly care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks throughout the facility to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and contamination.
• Manage waste disposal responsibly and efficiently.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to address specific cleaning needs.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
• Uphold the company's standards of cleanliness and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a strong attention to detail.
• Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations/COSHH related to cleaning.
• Friendly attitude with a commitment to providing a safe environment for residents.
