Cleaner

Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise all areas of the childcare centre, including but not limited to:

• Classrooms and play area
• Bathrooms and nappy-changing area
• Offices and staff rooms

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces

Sanitise children’s mattress after nap time

Empty bins and safely dispose of waste

Clean and disinfect toys, equipment, and high-touch surfaces

Follow infection control and hygiene procedures

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly

Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management

Follow all workplace health and safety policies

Work respectfully around children, educators and families

Covering Cook’s duties whenever the Cook is absent

Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned reasonably by reporting supervisor(s)
