About this Role

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaner at Reigate School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The position involves light cleaning such as vacuuming and wiping down desks.

We can offer a flexible working arrangement between the hours of 5-7am and 3.30-7.30pm. We welcome applications from candidates seeking a full or part time role, working over 42 weeks per annum (term time plus an additional 3 weeks).

Key responsibilities include:

• Clean classrooms, hallways, offices and other areas within the school
• Empty bins and dispose of waste
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines including COSHH regulations

We are looking for individuals who:

• A positive can-do attitude
• Have previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school of similar environment (desirable but not essential)
• Have the ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level
• Are able to work independently and as part of a team

The full time equivalent annual salary is £24,092. The actual salary will be pro rata subject to agreed working hours over 42 weeks per annum.
