Cleaner

Little Minds Preschool is looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy cleaner to join our team on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic environment throughout our preschool, helping to ensure a safe and welcoming space for children and staff.

Working Hours

Tuesday: 4:30 to 6:30pm

Friday: 4:30 to 6:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, floors and common areas
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks and handwashing areas
• Wiping down tables, chairs, surfaces and frequently touched areas
• Cleaning toys, play equipment and shared resources as required
• Carrying out deep cleaning tasks, including skirting boards, windowsills, doors and other areas as needed
• Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish appropriately
• Cleaning kitchen and food preparation areas, where applicable
• Ensuring all rooms are clean, tidy and ready for the following day
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues
• Following appropriate hygiene procedures and using cleaning products safely in a childcare environment

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• An understanding of hygiene and cleanliness in a childcare setting is an advantage

About the Role

This position offers regular evening hours on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Pay: €14.15-€21.54 per hour
