Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Conduct laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens by cooking assistance when required and ensuring hygienic food preparation areas.
• Handle manual lifting and outdoor work safely while managing heavy cleaning equipment or supplies.
• Dust surfaces, clean windows, and manage floor care including mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes.
• Use janitorial tools such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other cleaning equipment properly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to custodial work and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.

Experience

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, dusting, and sanitation best practices is advantageous.
• Experience with housekeeping management or custodial roles enhances your ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Outdoor work experience is beneficial for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor fixtures.
• Strong customer service skills combined with effective client communication are essential for understanding client expectations and delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical endurance is required for this role.
