As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will be responsible for executing cleaning tasks that promote health, safety, and operational excellence across our facility. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, and work areas using floor buffers, sweepers, mops, and other cleaning equipment to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle various cleaning agents safely, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Conduct custodial duties such as trash removal, sanitation of restrooms, and restocking supplies to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving supplies or equipment around the warehouse.
• Maintain equipment such as floor buffers and cleaning tools in good working condition through routine maintenance and proper storage.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for cleaning equipment or infrastructure issues that impact sanitation or safety.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment for everyone on site.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or warehouse settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, sanitation procedures, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
• Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across large facilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with team members or visitors.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting cleaning equipment is a plus.
