JResidential Cleaner – Cleaning Maid Easy | Calgary

Job Summary

Cleaning Maid Easy is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented residential cleaner who can manage their daily schedule and work independently.

This role involves cleaning clients’ homes, following individual cleaning instructions, and consistently delivering quality work without on-site supervision. You must be comfortable using our scheduling app to review appointments, read client notes, and understand what each home requires.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential cleaning appointments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
• Independently review and follow your daily schedule, arriving prepared and on time for each appointment.
• Read client notes and cleaning instructions in the app before each visit and follow property-specific requests.
• Manage your time effectively to complete each home within the scheduled time while maintaining our cleaning standards.
• Check your work before leaving to ensure all required tasks are complete.
• Plan ahead to ensure you have the supplies and equipment needed for your appointments.
• Follow company procedures for supply requests and pickups.
• Communicate promptly about delays, access issues, damage, supply needs, or additional cleaning time.
• Call management when immediate assistance or a decision is required.
• Respect clients’ homes, belongings, privacy, and property access instructions.
• Follow client instructions regarding pets and ensure doors and gates are securely closed.
• Work alongside other cleaners when scheduled.

Requirements

• Previous residential cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
• Strong time management and the ability to follow a schedule independently.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written client notes and cleaning checklists. Please include your favourite donut in your application.
• A smartphone and confidence using an app to access schedules, appointment details, and client instructions.
• Must be comfortable around animals, including dogs and cats, while cleaning clients’ homes.
• Reliable transportation to travel between clients’ homes.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and punctuality.
• Clear communication and a professional, respectful attitude.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and working on your feet.
