Cleaner, Handyperson & Property Caretaker

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to help us maintain our holiday apartments, pub, student properties, office, yard and vehicle fleet around Worcester.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to somebody who takes pride in their work, notices when something needs doing and can work independently to a high standard.

Main responsibilitiesAirbnb apartments

• Completing changeovers for our two Airbnb apartments.
• Checking each apartment carefully after guests check out and reporting any damage or missing items.
• Changing beds and replacing used bedding and towels.
• Washing, drying and organising all bedding and laundry.
• Thoroughly cleaning the apartments so they are spotless and ready for arriving guests.
• Restocking essential guest supplies.
• Checking that lights, appliances, heating and other facilities are working correctly.
• Carrying out minor repairs where possible.

Pub cleaning and maintenance

• Cleaning the pub and customer toilets before opening.
• Ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy and presentable.
• Cleaning the beer lines as required.
• Completing minor maintenance jobs, including repairing handles, adjusting doors and resolving other small issues.
• Reporting any larger repairs that require specialist attention.

Student properties

• Cleaning communal lounges, kitchens, hallways and bathrooms in our student houses around Worcester.
• Mowing lawns, removing weeds and keeping outside areas tidy and presentable.
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance.
• Regularly checking the condition of each property and informing us of any concerns.
• Keeping an eye out for damage, leaks, security issues or anything else requiring attention.

About you

The ideal candidate will be:

• Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
• Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Thorough, organised and attentive to detail.
• Confident completing basic maintenance and practical jobs.
• Willing to work across several locations around Worcester.
• Comfortable with cleaning, laundry, gardening and vehicle care.
• Proactive and able to spot problems before they become bigger issues.
• Friendly, professional and respectful of guests, tenants and customers.
• Able to drive, with a full UK driving licence.

Previous experience in cleaning, property maintenance, hospitality or a handyperson role would be helpful, but a strong work ethic and the right attitude are equally important.
