Cleaner – Disability Support Services (Adelaide)

Dynamic Care is a Disability Support Provider who provides in home and community support for people with varying disabilities and ages. We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role plays an important part in maintaining safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments for our participants and staff across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, consistency, and a strong understanding of infection‑control standards. You will contribute directly to the wellbeing of individuals with disability by ensuring their homes and shared spaces remain clean, organised, and compliant with NDIS quality and safety requirements.

Key Duties

• General cleaning of participant homes
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and surface sanitisation
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and high‑touch areas
• Maintaining clean and tidy communal areas
• Working within service description guidelines
• Following infection‑control procedures and organisational cleaning protocols

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness to support participant safety and comfort
• Work respectfully within participant homes and uphold boundaries, privacy and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with participants, staff and management regarding cleaning needs or concerns
• Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or risks promptly
• Follow organisational guidelines, NDIS standards, and workplace health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements

• Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to travel to various locations across Adelaide
• Provide or willing to obtain relevant checks (Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Check)
• Provide or willing to obtain the following training certificates: First Aid and CPR, Manual Handling, Hand Hygiene, Infection Control.

Highly Regarded

• Previous cleaning experience (residential, commercial, or community sector)
• Experience working in disability, aged care, or community services
• Knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards

Shift times may vary across weekdays depending on participant needs. Flexibility is highly valued.
