Cleaner / Groomer

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our office premises, showroom and common areas within a commercial building. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cleaning duties, including floor care, office housekeeping, toilet cleaning and cleaning glass panels, ensuring the premises remain clean, safe and presentable at all times.

Roles & Responsibilities

General Cleaning

• Clean and maintain office premises, showroom areas, meeting rooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to keep the premises clean and tidy.
• Wipe and clean desks, tables, chairs, shelves, furniture and other surfaces.
• Clean glass doors, windows, partitions and high glass panels using appropriate equipment and safe working methods.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, pantry areas and other shared facilities.
• Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners when necessary.
• Remove dust, stains, fingerprints and other marks from surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Replenish toilet and pantry supplies, including tissue paper, hand soap and other essentials.

Housekeeping & Maintenance

• Ensure the office and showroom are kept clean, neat and presentable throughout the day.
• Monitor the condition of the premises and report any maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Monitor cleaning materials and supplies and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly and safely.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, especially when cleaning glass panels and areas at height.
• Carry out other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in an office, showroom or commercial building is preferred.
• Able to operate basic cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Comfortable with cleaning glass doors, windows and high glass panels using suitable equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform daily cleaning duties, including standing, bending and handling cleaning equipment.
• Responsible, punctual, meticulous and able to work independently.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain good housekeeping standards.

Work Location

Commercial building, including office premises and showroom areas.

Working Hours

5.5 working days per week
