Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure workspace.
• Conduct sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-touch areas.
• Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies, following safe lifting practices.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning tools.
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility staff or client requests related to cleaning or maintenance needs.
• Support custodial and janitorial operations in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring spaces are spotless and well-maintained.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices.
