Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies regularly throughout the shift.
• Operate cleaning machinery including vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning tools to ensure efficient and effective cleaning results.
• Assist with custodial duties such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to support overall facilities maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities and report any hazards immediately.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper handling of chemical agents.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools safely and effectively.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
