Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, adhering to chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy environment.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Use commercial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while following safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or painting to uphold building standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a strong understanding of sanitation standards.
• Skilled in operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning products.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards across all areas.
