Cleaner Long Term Sub position

CLEANER-LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE This is a long term substitute position that goes from 10-13-2026 through approximately 01-15-2027. Reports to: Head Custodian Department: Custodial

Works with: Teachers, students, parents

Job Summary: The cleaner performs general cleaning to provide pleasant surrounds for staff and students.

Duties/Responsibilities

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Cleans assigned area.
• Floors-vacuums, mops, and scrubs.
• Bathrooms-clean and scrub daily.
• Walls and Boards-Clean and scrub as needed.
• Clean Desks and Furniture.
• Windows Exterior-Room and Building exterior, clean as needed.
• Empty garbage.
• Assists parents and other visitors to school buildings with special events and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum HS diploma required
• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with school personnel, students, parents and members of the community.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Physical Job Requirements

• Employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, talk, and hear; frequently sits, stoops, kneels and/or crouches, reach with hands and arms in the performance of the job. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally; and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
