Cleaner (part-time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our home. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across our care home.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
• Clean and sanitise bedrooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards
• Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks during cleaning tasks
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare settings or janitorial work is essential
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
