Cleaner (part-time)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial work and a strong work ethic, ensuring environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and public areas
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll in designated areas
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste responsibly
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene and safety
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers safely
• Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to cleaning environments

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean and hygienic spaces. Candidates should be organised, dependable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Prior experience in janitorial services will be considered an advantage.
