About the Position

Sparkle Squad Cleaning Services Ltd. is a growing professional cleaning company serving the Okanagan, and we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team.

This position will primarily focus on weekly commercial cleaning, offices and show homes in Predator Ridge, with additional residential cleaning opportunities throughout Vernon and Lake Country.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with the potential to pick up additional hours as our business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete weekly cleaning of commercial offices and show homes
• Complete residential house cleaning in Vernon and Lake Country
• Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms and common areas
• Empty garbage and maintain clean, organized spaces
• Clean high-touch areas and frequently used surfaces
• Follow client-specific cleaning checklists and instructions
• Pay close attention to detail and ensure properties are left looking their best
• Work efficiently while maintaining Sparkle Squad's standards
• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors and team members
• Report any damage, maintenance concerns, missing items or unusual conditions at a property
• Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies
• Respect client homes, businesses, belongings and privacy
• Work independently when required, as well as alongside other cleaners
• Complete jobs within the expected timeframes while maintaining quality

Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from job locations is required
• Valid driver's licence is an asset
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to provide a criminal record check
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work flexible weekday hours
• Must be dependable and able to attend scheduled shifts consistently
• Must be comfortable working in both commercial and residential environments

Hours & Schedule

Job Type: Part-Time
Location: Predator Ridge, Vernon & Lake Country
Schedule: Primarily weekdays
Hours: Part-time hours with the opportunity for additional shifts

Hours may vary depending on client bookings and business needs. There is potential for increased hours and ongoing work for the right person as our client base continues to grow.
