Cleaners

We're looking for experienced and motivated Cleaners to join a leading rail industry provider based in Nowergup, WA .

This is a great opportunity to work within a major transport operation, helping maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across rolling stock and depot facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain passenger trains to a high standard, including the removal and disposal of waste.
• Perform interior and exterior train cleaning in line with schedules and quality requirements.
• Assist with specialised cleaning activities, including roof and underframe cleaning when required.
• Respond to operational cleaning requirements, including graffiti removal and vandalism-related cleaning tasks.
• Clean depot facilities, workshops, offices, and amenities.
• Report defects, damage, vandalism, and safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment, tools, and approved chemical products.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in industrial, commercial, transport, rail, or facilities cleaning.

• A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean environments.

• The ability to follow procedures and work effectively within a team.

• A reliable work ethic and positive attitude.

• The physical capability to perform manual cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working both indoors and outdoors.

• Rail industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Day and night shifts available, with the majority of work on night shift.

• Day shifts commence at 7:00 AM (start/finish time subject to change)

• Night shifts commence at 7:00 PM (start/finish time subject to change)

• Monday to Sunday operation, offering pay rates ranging from $33 to $44 per hour, depending on shift and penalties.

• Long-term casual opportunity with the potential for ongoing employment.
