Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning & Sanitation

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize all floors, play areas, classrooms, and administrative offices daily.
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including toys, play equipment, door handles, tables, and chairs.
• Thoroughly scrub, clean, and sanitize restrooms, changing stations, and washbasins at regular intervals throughout the day.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of diapers and hazardous waste in accordance with health protocols.
• Strictly follow infection control procedures, health policies, and safe chemical handling guidelines.
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals and tools are stored securely away from children at all times.
• Assist in preparing spaces for daily arrival, outdoor activities, and naptime resets.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or SSCE / High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial services (prior experience in a school, créche, healthcare facility, or childcare setting is an added advantage).
• Knowledge of proper sanitization methods and safe handling of cleaning agents.
• Strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards.
• Physical stamina to bend, lift, stand, and move comfortably throughout the workday.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
