Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning tasks across multiple areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
• Execute custodial duties efficiently in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness standards
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects that require specialized equipment and techniques to handle heavy-duty messes or hazardous materials
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and inventory management
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet extraction
• Experience in custodial services within commercial or industrial settings preferred
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, or industrial vacuums effectively
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair reporting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
